BO1 Browser Game is a fan-made browser port of COD Zombies, the round-based mode from Call of Duty: Black Ops, built on the bo1 zombies decompiled engine project on GitHub. You start each match with a pistol and a knife, board up the windows, and hold out as waves of the undead keep coming. Every zombie you drop earns points, and points buy everything: wall weapons, doors to new areas, perks and the mystery box. It is the classic loop, playable free in your browser. Rounds ratchet up: each one sends more zombies, and tougher ones. Points come from kills and from repairing the boards, so staying alive and keeping the barriers up are the same job. The power switch, the Pack-a-Punch machine and the mystery box are the three big levers on every map, and learning where they are, and in what order to reach them, is most of the strategy. The mystery box gambles your points on a random weapon, and the ray gun and the thundergun are the two pulls everyone is hoping for. All ten Black Ops Zombies maps from the original release are in: Nacht der Untoten, Verrückt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese from the World at War era, plus Kino der Toten, Five, Ascension, Call of the Dead, Shangri-La and Moon. Each map rearranges the same basic rules — Kino hides a teleporter behind the stage, Five puts you under the Pentagon, Moon runs on low gravity — so the mode stays fresh long after the basics click. A horde mode changes the terms: you start on round 100 with up to 300 zombies on screen and no perk machines to lean on. Be aware of what this port asks of your machine. It runs on desktop Chrome, Edge or Firefox with a keyboard and mouse — phones and tablets are not supported — and each map downloads a few hundred megabytes the first time you play it. On a decent connection that is a one-time wait; on a slow one it will test your patience. The project behind this port is bo1 zombies decompiled, a community effort that rebuilt the game's engine code so it can run through WebAssembly. It is a fan work and is not affiliated with Treyarch or Activision. BO1 Browser Game has nothing to do with football; playing it opens the original project's site in a new tab, and Head Football Games does not host the game files. No download, no account.
