Blockader Description
Blockader is a free browser roguelite arena survival shooter set on a small lunar battlefield, where a space rat holds the ring against wave after wave of aliens. The gun does the shooting on its own, snapping at whatever threat is closest. Your job is everything around it: keep moving, keep the horde at a comfortable distance, and stay alive long enough to get stronger. Enemies pour in from every side, in eight flavors of melee trouble plus snipers who pick at you from the back rows while the frontline keeps you busy. Damage enough of them and the wave meter fills, which pauses the fight long enough to pick one of several upgrade cards. Then the next wave starts, larger and meaner than the last. Contact with a critter or a well-aimed sniper shot costs a life, and when the lives run out, the run ends. The cards are where a run takes shape. There are more than a hundred of them across four rarity tiers, and their effects stack: extra bullets, chain lightning, poison, arrows, friendly dragons, and stranger things besides. Reading your own build matters more than grabbing the shiniest card, since the wrong pick leaves a gap the horde will find. If the offer is hopeless, a reroll is always one key away. Death is not the end of progress. Stars collected during runs buy permanent gear in three flavors, offense, defense and utility, and every character grows through a skill tree of their own. Six characters wait in the roster, each with a distinct way of surviving, though only Lucky is unlocked at the start and the rest cost stars. Wave leaderboards and an upgrade collection give the long game something to chase. Blockader has nothing to do with football. It is a survival shooter about movement, stacking effects and turning a fragile start into serious firepower.
