Soccer Duel is a free browser football arena game built around big-head players and turn-based shooting. You lead a team of oversized footballers, take turns aiming and shooting, and try to outscore the opponent before the clock runs out. When the ball reaches one of your players, press and hold on that character. A directional arrow appears. Drag to set the angle and power, then release to send the ball forward. Teams alternate turns, so every shot must be planned with defense in mind. Leave a player near your goal to block the opponent's next attempt. Push too many players forward and a counterattack walks the ball into an empty net. Five modes are available. Single-player mode puts you against the AI. Local two-player mode lets two people share one keyboard. Online mode matches you against real opponents who take risks the AI never would. Tournament mode runs you through a bracket with increasing difficulty. Crazy mode adds twists that change the rules mid-match. Penalty mode strips everything down to pure finishing. All five modes use the same drag-to-shoot controls, so switching between them does not require relearning anything. The big-head character designs make it easy to tell your players from the opposition at a glance. Matches run against a visible clock, so even though the turns are turn-based, you cannot take forever on each shot. The interface shows your remaining time clearly. The commentator keeps the pressure on, and the crowd noise rises with every goal. Scoring is simple: more goals than the opponent when time expires wins. A well-angled shot past the keeper earns a goal. A blocked shot gives the other team their turn. The online mode is where the game opens up, because human opponents attempt long shots and unexpected angles that the AI would never consider.
