Challenge Rush is a free browser rhythm platformer in the geometry dash mold. A small geometric icon rushes forward on its own through a neon obstacle course, and your job is to keep it alive to the beam of light at the end of the track. Spike rows, bottomless pits and moving traps line the way, and the speed keeps climbing the further you get. The controls are one button. Press Spacebar, the Up Arrow, W, or left-click to act. What that button does depends on your current form, and portal gates scattered through each level switch you between five of them. The Cube jumps once per press. The Ship rises while you hold and sinks when you release. The Ball flips gravity with every tap, sticking to the ceiling or dropping to the floor. The UFO hops each time you press, hovering between spike rows above and below. The Wave climbs at a 45-degree angle while held and dives the moment you let go. Learning what each portal color means, before you reach it, is half the game. Three modes frame the challenge. Normal is strict: no checkpoints, and one collision ends the run. Practice respawns you at the nearest checkpoint, so you can learn a level's patterns section by section before attempting a real clear. Endless generates obstacles randomly and keeps raising the speed, which turns it into a pure survival test. There is also a level editor. You can place your own obstacles, set the speed, and pick a track from the built-in library or upload your own music. It is worth using, because the game is built around rhythm. Jumps and form changes land on the beat, so listening to the track tells you as much as watching the screen. Challenge Rush is an arcade platformer, not a football game.
