Wiggly Worm Race is a free browser racing game where you pound two keys to make a worm crawl. Pick solo mode and race against the clock, or call up to three friends over to the same keyboard and see whose worm crosses the finish line first. You can play it on Head Football Games in any modern browser. The controls are stripped down to one idea: tap left and right in rhythm. The faster you alternate, the faster your worm inches forward. Each player gets their own key pair, so four people can share one keyboard without bumping hands. Player one uses the left and right arrows, player two uses A and S, player three uses V and B, and player four uses L and K. Before a race you choose from easy, medium or hard. Easy keeps the track short and the obstacles scarce, which is good for learning the rhythm. Medium adds distance and a few more things to wiggle around. Hard stretches the track out and fills it with enough obstacles that maintaining top speed becomes a real finger workout. There is no football here, just a simple keyboard speed test that works as a quick break or a loud living-room competition. The pixel-art look keeps the screen readable, and a round rarely lasts more than a minute, so it is easy to say just one more race.
