Slope Rider is a free browser skiing arcade game where you steer a sled down an endless snowy mountain. The sled moves forward on its own. You steer left and right and jump over hazards. One collision with a tree, rock, or snowball ends the run. Left and right arrow keys handle steering. The up arrow makes you jump over low hazards. The controls are the same on desktop and mobile. The sled responds immediately, and the compact file keeps loading times short. The mountain throws obstacles at you in increasing density. Pine trees block entire lanes. Ice-capped boulders sit in the middle of the path. Falling ice drops from above without warning. Rolling snowballs chase you from behind and cut off escape routes. Gift boxes are scattered along the course. Collecting them unlocks new sled designs. The longer you survive, the faster the descent and the tighter the gaps. Early in a run the obstacles are spaced wide enough that you can react one at a time. After a minute the clusters tighten and the sled speed increases.
