River Drift is a free browser arcade game where you steer a small boat down a river that never ends. The current does all the pushing, so there is no throttle and no brake. Your job is to guide the boat left and right, slip past whatever the river puts in the way, and stay afloat for one more second. You can play it on Head Football Games in any modern browser. Steering is the whole control scheme. On desktop you use the left and right arrow keys or drag the mouse; on mobile you swipe or drag across the screen. Small corrections work better than hard swings, because the boat keeps drifting on its own and every input is about position, not speed. The river gets crowded fast. Rocks sit in the current, logs drift across your line, and new hazards show up with less warning the longer a run lasts. One hit sinks the boat and ends the run on the spot, with the distance counter keeping an honest record of how far you actually made it. Gems and coins float along the route, usually a little off the safe line. Collecting them completes missions and unlocks new boats and characters, so there is always a reason to take the riskier path. Chasing every shiny thing is also the quickest way to crash, and most players only learn that the hard way. Runs are short and the restart is instant, so a sunk boat rarely costs more than a shrug before the next attempt. There is no account to create and nothing to download. It is not a football game, just a quiet reflex test that fills the same quick-break slot as the rest of Head Football Games.
