Description

Football Marble Shooter is a free browser marble shooter dressed in football colors. A chain of painted footballs rolls along a winding track toward the goal, and your job is to stop it. You fire balls from a launcher into the moving line, and when three or more of the same color end up side by side, they pop and the chain shrinks. If even one ball reaches the goal, the run is over. You can play it on Head Football Games in any modern browser. The controls take seconds to learn. Move the mouse to swing the launcher around, and click to fire the ball waiting in it. The loaded ball is always a random color, red, blue, yellow or green, so every shot is a small decision: spend this ball on a weak match now, or bank it for a better angle. On touch screens, drag to aim and tap to shoot. Clearing a group does more than remove balls. The broken ends of the chain snap back together, and if the colors at the new junction match, they merge and can set off another clear on their own. Chaining these reactions is where the big scores come from, because the game multiplies your points for each combo in the sequence. The pressure builds steadily. The chain rolls a little faster on each new stage, and fresh colors join the mix, which makes clean matches harder to find. A shot that only makes a pair is not wasted, though. It sets up the next ball, so thinking two shots ahead counts for more than quick reflexes. There is nothing to download and no account to create.
