Football Marble Shooter is a free browser marble shooter wearing a football theme. A chain of painted footballs rolls along a winding track toward the goal, and your job is to stop every one of them. You fire colored balls from a launcher at the bottom of the screen into the moving chain. When three or more balls of the same color line up, they pop and the chain shortens. If a single ball reaches the goal at the end of the track, the run ends. Move the mouse to swing the launcher. Click to fire the loaded ball into the chain. The ball you get is random: red, blue, yellow, or green. Every shot asks a small question. Spend this color on a weak two-ball match now to create space, or hold it and wait for a better angle on three matching balls. On touch screens, drag to aim and tap to shoot. The controls are the same on desktop and mobile. Clearing a group does more than remove balls. The chain snaps back together at the break point, and if the two new ends happen to be the same color, they merge and clear on their own. That chain reaction can trigger a second clear, which triggers a third, and the score multiplies with each link in the combo. Chaining three or four clears from a single well-placed shot is where the high scores come from, and it is more satisfying than grinding through one match at a time. The pressure increases with each stage. The chain rolls faster. New colors join the mix, which means fewer matching opportunities and harder decisions about where to place each ball. A shot that only makes a pair is not wasted. It sets up the next ball and creates a gap that might save the run two turns later. Thinking two or three shots ahead counts for more than fast reactions. Rounds are short and restarts are instant. There is a leaderboard that gives you a number to chase, and the football theme stays light throughout.
